Cyleina started out as an enterprise in 2004 when Leigh Garcia, then a young entrepreneur in her college years became interested in setting up a business that would cater to the interests and needs of women her age and lifestyle. From a small network of distributors who did personal marketing, the brand became stronger in the proceeding years with its base market growing, catering to a wider range of customers. In 2007, Leigh married Christian Hortaleza, another enterprising young man in the business of beauty supplies distribution. Cyleina then became a part of the Yanlei Hortaleza Company, and the brand diversified its product line from organic soaps to body scrubs, skin butter, and organic oli moisturizers Key to the success of its organic beauty products is Cyleina's traditional hand made cold processed method. Using a treasured family formula of making the gentlest most natural soap products, the brand reaches a far stretching market both locally and abroad. Cyleina is a combination of Leigh's name together with her siblings' Cyrrus and Ina.
